Jointly organised by SkillsFuture SG (SSG) and JTC Corporation (JTC), AMTA held a joint forum on “Transform Businesses and Develop Talent to Embrace Future of Manufacturing” to discuss the emerging trends in manufacturing, share insights and provide actionable tips for enterprises and workforce to be ready for the future of manufacturing.
Dr Zeng Xianting Director of AMTA shared on AMTA’s work with SMEs and the handholding support they provide, from training needs analysis to helping companies streamline their workforce transformation roadmap, to curating contextualised training programmes.
Chelvin Loh, Director of SSG shared about the key hiring trends for emerging job roles and how job content is changing as advanced modelling, faster design cycles, industrial automation, and predictive maintenance & analytics improve work processes and create demand for skills such as #dataanalytics, #programming, #AIapplication, and environmental sustainability management.
Gary Gan Chia Huey, CEO of JobKred showed us how SMEs can create their own skills control centre to reduce attrition and increase productivity.
