Overview
The Post-Diploma Certificate (PDC): Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Manufacturing equips learners with practical skills to apply AI across the manufacturing value chain. The programme covers key areas such as industrial AI, intelligent inspection, generative AI, production planning and scheduling, and data-driven predictive maintenance.
Developed by A*STAR SIMTech/ARTC and recognised under Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Specialist Diploma in Smart Manufacturing framework, this PDC helps manufacturing professionals understand how AI-enabled solutions can enhance productivity, quality, operational resilience and data-driven decision-making in smart manufacturing environments.
Upon completing all five modules under this PDC, learners may stack it with eligible NP Post-Diploma Certificates towards selected Specialist Diploma in Smart Manufacturing pathways, subject to the training provider’s requirements.

- PDC-AI M4: Production Planning and Scheduling for Smart Manufacturing (24 hours)
- PDC-AI M5: Data-driven Predictive Maintenance and Optimal Plan (40 hours)
