A MOU was signed between AMTA and JTC to launch a new Industry Transformation Initiative to provide consultancy and advisory services on Industry 4.0 skills and training at the Industry Connect Office @ Jurong Innovation District on 16 Nov 2021 (Tue).
Mr Gan Kim Yong, the Minister of Trade and Industry, addressed: “This initiative will match companies with technology and training partners to identify suitable technology, solutions, and training programmes for Industry 4.0 deployment. Singaporeans can look forward to being re-skilled for better career and progression opportunities in manufacturing.”
Mr Lee Kok Choy, the AMTA chairman, highlighted: “To strengthen Singapore’s competitiveness in manufacturing, we have to embrace Industry 4.0 leading to advanced manufacturing.”
Mr Tan Boon Khai, the CEO of JTC, said: “The new collaboration with AMTA will strengthen our network of Industry 4.0 partners, and serves as a significant milestone to drive the next phase of business transformation.”
