ITAP 2021 Standard Forum – Panel Discussion: Journey Towards Industry 4.0 With Standards

During the Standards Forum at the Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2021, the panellists from McKinsey, SIMTech, AMTA and local SME – Onn Wah Tech shared insights and discussed on the important role standards play to help manufacturing companies, especially SMEs to accelerate their Industry 4.0 (I4.0) journey. Standards contain industry best practices and provide guidance to manufacturing companies in their implementation of I4.0 technologies. AMTA will provide one-stop end-to-end I4.0 standards training solutions for local SMEs, LLEs and MNCs. One of the bite-sized e-learning modules based on the Singapore Standard – SS 666 : 2020 Qualification of parts printed by metal additive manufacturing will be launched by AMTA in Q1 2022.
