Overview

This course aim to introduce alternative polymer materials, assesses respective changes to polymer processing technologies and outlines quality control measures that are of emerging interest given this global trend towards sustainability. 

The course imparts concepts of sustainability and methods of assessing and reducing environmental impact and carbon footprint. 

Participants will be exposed to an immersive learning environment, guided by polymer-based material and process case studies based on SIMTech’s long-standing expertise and industry support across a wide range of polymer processing technologies. 

The course content will enable polymer product developers and manufacturers to make informed choices based on existing market-ready materials and processes, as well as emerging solutions, to achieve higher levels of sustainable manufacturing.
