Overview
Participants would be equipped with the skills and knowledge for working in the wafer fabrication cleanroom, handling wafer tools and equipment and identification of work hazards.
Topics to be covered
1. Introduction to wafer fabrication facilities
2. Operating in cleanroom
3. Wafer Handling tools such as vacuum wand, flat aligner tool, transfer jig, etc.
4. Hands-on session on basic operation and setup of wafer fabrication equipment; wafer handling, photolithography and etching.

1. Name the facilities support needed for wafer fabrication in cleanroom
2. Explain the best practices and protocol for cleanroom operations
3. Identify potential work hazards in a cleanroom environment to ensure good safety practices
4. Demonstrate the procedures for operating in cleanroom and handling hazardous chemicals
5. Make use of wafer fab handling tools such as vacuum wand, flat aligner tool, etc
6. Operate and perform basic wafer fabrication equipment setup
